|  | Dear Friends, It has truly been one of the highlights of my life to serve as your St. Louis County Executive for the past eleven years. Thank you for this honor and privilege and for your loyal support over the years. As you know, I was not successful in winning yesterday’s Democratic primary election. Obviously I’m disappointed…we had momentum and there was more work to do. I’m proud of everything we have accomplished together, but we just couldn’t pull it across the finish line this time. The people of St. Louis County have spoken and it’s time for all of us to come together and move forward. Sandra, Stephanie, and I appreciate your kindness, your hard work, and most of all your friendship.
